Untitled #1

Untitled #1 is a short film that I wrote, directed, and edited. The story centers around Video Machine Mobile, a captivating artwork by contemporary artist Donato Piccolo, serving as both inspiration and focal point for the project. The short film depicts the true story of an encounter between a museum attendant and the artwork Video Machine Mobile by contemporary artist Donato Piccolo. The artist generously made the original artwork available for the production, allowing the robot featured in the film to remain fully autonomous throughout the entire shoot.

Untitled #1 was selected for the International Short Film Competition at the Montréal International Festival of Films on Art, where it premiered on March 15, 2025.

The short film was also part of the official selection of Visioni Italiane (organised by the Cineteca di Bologna) and the Fotogenia Film Festival. Since November 2025, it has been available for streaming on the Canadian platform Arts Films.
